Our Team

  • Casey Keown, Chairman

“As a policeman, I see the shape that our county is in firsthand. I want to leave a positive impact on my community, and create a long-lasting park that my grandchildren will be able to utilize. I'm committed to turning our vision into reality, and I'm excited to have a team that shares my passion for skating.”

  • Jesse Wisdom, Vice Chairman

“Even though I moved away from Grayson County after high school, this community has always been close to my heart. My family, closest friends, and their children still call this place home. I want to give back to the community that shaped my upbringing by helping to create a skatepark where everyone can make lasting memories and find a sense of belonging.”

  • Valeria Hayes, Treasurer

I have lived in Grayson County for most of my life and have spent the biggest part of my 40-year career working here in the public service sector. I am currently the CEO of Breck-Grayson Programs Head Start and Early Head Start in Leitchfield and have been employed by the agency for 27 years. I was born into a farm family and have fond memories of growing up “in the country.” The traits I learned as a “farm kid” (honesty, integrity, strong work ethic and being a good citizen) have served me well as an adult. I have 2 sons of my own, with 1 of them spending countless hours on a skateboard as a teenager. As a mother, I loved watching him participate in a sport he loved although it is not widely recognized or supported here as such. Through skateboarding, just like any other sport our youth participate in, he was occupied in most of his spare time practicing and perfecting his craft. He built many lifelong friendships. Skating was his focus and outlet. As a community leader, I see a lot of kids in our county who resemble my son; kids who need something other than traditional sports as a focus and outlet. When I first started seeing information about the Twin Lakes Skate Park Project, I was immediately interested in helping bring the project to life. As the mom of a kid who LOVED to skateboard, I know it will be a benefit.

  • Dani Saltsman, Secretary

“As a mom, it is important to me to do everything I can to provide opportunities for my children to thrive in their environment. Being a part of bringing a world-class skatepark to our community ensures they have ample opportunities to discover who they want to be. It will provide a safe space to be themselves, make friends, enjoy the outdoors, and just have fun!”

  • Danny Miller, Communications Director

“I’ve been married for over 12 wonderful years and am a proud father of four amazing children: three daughters and one son. I work as a Mason for Bailey’s Masonry, where I take pride in my craft. Outside of work, I’m passionate about skateboarding. Being part of the Twin Lakes Skatepark Project has inspired me to do more for my community, especially through youth outreach, encouraging kids to get involved in a sport that I love.”
